How many times have we seen this before? I understand that it's a bowler on the other side of Jaddu but playing out maidens have never helped the batting team; not even the great 2015 blackathon from Hashim Amla and AB de Villiers could turn the match in the batting team's favor. There is always an unplayable delivery or lapse in concentration around the corner.

India need 44 runs with just one wicket remaining. Jadeja has the potential to pull off a historic win — just like Ben Stokes did with Jack Leach in the 2019 Headingley Test. There's hope, but Jadeja is batting too slowly, almost as if he's playing for a draw — which isn't a realistic option now, especially with the required runs still coming at a crawl.
