Good to know that this update has ironed out the linking flaws. Hoping to get on my PC tonight and get all the on disc teams updated.
Just one thing Ross, after we get the full game, will the CA be operable only with a controller or will a keyboard work too? Keyboards are seriously handy when...
The current release (the one speculated to happen this Nov/Dec) is for PC, XBox360 and PS3. The next gen release might occur next year (or whenever they make it happen).
I would certainly love a WC2015 edition of DBC14 (just like the RLL2). WC is in Australia, so that's their prime market...
Good law enforcement would do better.
But yea, seriously, good pre order bonus and I'd certainly be putting down my money for it. Don't see the need to pre order it otherwise. Hope they have the same release date down here, as in Australia, at the very least.
I guess the helmet thing isn't much to look at. May be it helps distinguish between a good offspinner and a poor offspinner at a glance (that'd still be with its fair share of flaws as BD mentioned about bowlers like McGrath).
Been doing the skills thing ignoring the helmet number so far. But...
Yea. I gotta search it up and post it again once I'm on PC. Too lazy to do it from my cell phone. Perhaps Ross could have a "Make a Commentator" feature in the next game. You won't come across a better Manjrekar! :p
Had an embarrassing first creation, a Sachin Tendulkar. Someone here said it looked more like Sanjay Manjrekar! :lol
Later I downloaded another Sachin and tweaked him a bit and reuploaded that. That replaced my original creation. Too bad I no more have it to share with you guys. Gotta check...
You downloaded the entire v0.99 right? The 400+ MB thing?
Try downloading that and install it. Then update using 0.99a. That has worked for many ppl here. Hope it does for you too.
The most ideal way is to go for linking the players individually. Did that for my India team and it turned out to be perfect. It did replace Tendulkar in Mumbai Indians or Dhoni in CSK. So that definitely works. May be Ross should tell us if we are going wrong in the team linking process...

No wait! If you directly link the teams and tick the "players" it replaces the on disk team with the user made team and thus the players lose all the skills and att and the stats too. So I'd say do it player by player. Link players and not the teams. And once when all the required players have...
Israr, just dwnload the SA side, link it with one on disk and then delete that user made SA side. Now you'd have just one Kallis who plays for SA, KKR and not multiple versions of him. That does work for me.
And I am extremely happy that Cricket finds a place in it.
So Ross, you guys are doing Cricket, Rugby (if TruBlu don't do another AFLLive2), Lacrosse and may be Badminton (I'd take that answer you gave to Matt as a hint). So how do sequels work here? Have you got separate teams for different...
Its going to be fun watching ppl at the gameplay sessions getting bowled often, or getting hit for sixes if they play against AI (given that play sessions are against AI. Haven't been to any and so I don't know much of it.) True, they won't have any clue of what to expect with these...
No proper shops sell those stuff. Its the street side vendors somewhere outside the railway stations. They are also the ones who sell all sorts of pirated game cds. Sad it goes unchecked by the police who are stationed just a couple of metres away from them.
Awesome, awesome stuff MikeM n Ross! Saw the video only now.
Hoping the 'hotspot' is included as a filter in the instant replays, that'd make it even better. More like hitting the perfect on drive and then checking out the replay in hotspot filter to see how good you middled it.
I seriously hope BA gives a patch for CA or even a paid DLC later sometime to make it possible to create the domestic cricket structure of every major cricketing nation. The career mode would seem a bit odd otherwise.
Wonder how the career mode starts in the game out of the box without...
