The windies always seem to play well against the aussies, mostly in the caribean. They did beat them by scoring 418 runs in the last innings of a test and ended their unbeaten run of odi victories. All this after australia had just won the world cup in 2003
I'd say tait cause hes a bit of an unknown quantity. The english have studied every aussie batsman(except for the tailenders) thats why they have been succesful against them and been unable to bowl out the last four because they have not been told what to do.So the english may struggle initially...
The african team will hopefully not just be 10 south africans and 2 kenyans for the next two games although i expect just to see streak in place of odoyo
Symonds maybe a big hitter but i feel he wont last the full five days. His performance will drop by day four.Brad Hodge is ideal. He had the one of the best seasons for an overseas player last year in england.
I think there now should be an african cup with namibia, zimbabwe, kenya, uganda and the winner to play south africa.Or maybe some other format. From the four teams above what order would they rank
The ball to warney is teh way to bowl at the tail.I dont think england have realised that yet.The aussie tail almost one a test for them, saved the follow-on and saved the test match
The toughest part is over for the aussies. They now have time to reasses their performance and get hodge in the side who played so well in england last season
