End of Over 49: 271-10, runrate=5.53
Lisbie 9-0-45-6
Hall* 130 (118 balls)

Terrific innings by Hall but Wotton was better, if Hall had found a supporting role from someone like Nayar did for Wotton i would have been in trouble. Thank you WC for the 7 wickets lol

Didn't even need to bowl my batters to get a draw this match.

End of Over 93 (1 runs). Team Death: 320-4, runrate=3.44
Trail by 80 runs. (Baggy Blues 400-10)
Neil 21-1-76-0

Life without Clayden day 2 hasn't been as good. Although he probably wouldn't have made much of a difference.

After 40 overs I was

End of Over 40: 152-2, runrate=3.80
Fernandes 10-0-33-0
Charlton* 18 (43 balls)
Oli 67 (118 balls)
Last Wicket: Lucas c. Masibulele b. Ahmed 62 (FOW: 114/2)

Then the death men came in.

End of Over 50: 201-10, runrate=4.02
Borrowdale 9-0-38-3
Durkin* 0 (0 balls)

49.3 W Borrowdale to Brittain
Off stump has just been broken in half. Oh dear that wasn't a ball that Brittain could afford to miss!
49.2 W Borrowdale to Howard
Borrowdale sends down a rank long hop, and Howard promptly slaps it to the man at point.
49.1 W Borrowdale to Toynbee
OUT! Nice bowling from Borrowdale, the away swinger draws Toynbee into the shot and he only manages to edge the ball to Masibulele.

End of Over 49: 201-7, runrate=4.10
Sawyer 10-1-36-6
Toynbee* 1 (1 balls)
Durkin 0 (0 balls)
Last Wicket: Dowe c. Masibulele b. Sawyer 15 (FOW: 201/7)
48.6 W Sawyer to Dowe
Good wrong'un from Sawyer, beguiling the batsman and getting the faintest of edges through to Masibulele.
48.5 1 Sawyer to Toynbee
Nice timing but straight to the fielder. The batsmen manage to scamper through for one though.
48.4 W Sawyer to Teague
What an ugly end for Teague, he's wafted at one outside the off stump and paid the penalty.
48.3 W Sawyer to Nash
Nash sends Sawyer's delivery down Germon's gullet at long on. Out.

I had the Predators down to 3-60 but as usual Alan Willie blasted away and hit an unbeaten century and carried his bat again but the west indian connection of Clinton Lisbie & Greg Mbeki set off another bt collapse to get them all out for 243

He has now set his two best bowlers to open and bowl straight through in an attempt to knock over Wotton and destroy my batting but it hasnt work thus far

End of Over 19: 84-1, runrate=4.42, reqrunrate=5.16 (243-10)
Royle 10-0-41-1
Stanley* 42 (61 balls)
Wotton 36 (46 balls)

Last Wicket: Nayar b. Royle 2 (FOW: 7/1)

Nayar fell early but against these bowlers Stanley has shown some real fight for a batsmen who hates opening

Looked like Sawyer was absolutely knacked when his turn came to bat. Probably the first time hes had to bowl all 10 and then open.

I think I've found Crouch orders, scored a hard thought 85. The under used Masi finally gets his chance

End of Over 42: 194-2, runrate=4.62, reqrunrate=1.00 (201-10)
Durkin 6-1-23-0
Chavhanga* 77 (82 balls)
Masibulele 4 (4 balls)
Last Wicket: Crouch c. Downey b. Brittain 85 (FOW: 183/2)

This is going to be a tight match. Hopefully Conelly and Bolder can have a big partnership. I've just realised if I win this match I could suddenly go from relegation battle to promotion contender???

End of Over 7: 40-1, runrate=5.71, reqrunrate=5.07 (257-9)

Corden 4-0-32-1

Conelly* 26 (16 balls)
Bolder 14 (24 balls)

Last Wicket: Hawkins c. De boer b. Corden 0 (FOW: 1/1)

Good start for Mampe

1.5 W Mampe to Sheppard
Mampe sends down a rank long hop, and Sheppard promptly slaps it to the man at point.

He did start getting some stick from Barton though.

End of Over 4: 17-1, runrate=4.25
Mampe 2-0-14-1
Hamed* 2 (3 balls)
Barton 15 (12 balls)
Last Wicket: Sheppard c. Sawyer b. Mampe 0 (FOW: 1/1)

aussie1st added 40 Minutes and 9 Seconds later...

And now I'm feeling the pain of losing Clayden economy, Ahmed has been pathetic.

End of Over 15: 72-1, runrate=4.80
Ahmed 3-0-23-0
Hamed* 28 (35 balls)
Barton 43 (46 balls)
Last Wicket: Sheppard c. Sawyer b. Mampe 0 (FOW: 1/1)
