Review(Personal Comments on the match)

Won the toss and elected to bowl,started off with hoggard and harmison with a attacking field,
two slips,but had long-on for both the bowlers and another fielder at deep-cover.After that the
opposition used the fielding restriction to good advantage by going over the top.Brough Flintoff
in the 5th over,his first over was expensive,but harmison and flintoff kept picking wickets at
regular intervals,still went with a relatively attacking field with 3 players in the deep.Broughy
in Giles to bowl and concentrated on leg stump line.Meanwhile there was a drop catch off Harmison
(dont remember who dropped it),and one from Giles fell just in front of the fielder.Broughtt
Collingwood instead of Harmison(looking at it now maybe shd have brought Jones),Collingwood was
neither effective nor a waste,had a moderate field for him,same for Giles.Then I brought back
Flintoff(as far as i remember) and in the end brought Jones to bowl the 18th and 20th over.
The main prob with Jones is that he can bowl only two types of deliveries,yet he was useful and
picked up the final wicket.But the last wicket partnership was frustrating as there was a lot of
misfields and a catch dropped(the one by collingwood).
Had a decent target to chase,started positively with tres attacking and jones mainly supporting,
nearly had a 50 partnership.Tres got out trying to play an aggresive shot.Vaughan came in and
tried to hit mainly in the ground(finding gaps),but a sharp in-cutter bowled him out.Jones
meanwhile became the major aggressor.Soon he too got out.Flintoff was cautious the first 5-6 balls
that he faced,but started hitting over longon,midwicket and straight down the wicket.Also hit
a boundary over covers by charging the spinner,then got hot playing a cross-bat shot.All this time
pietersen was mainly dealing in singles with the odd boundary,but he flourished towards the end,
along with strauss who was playing normally,cruised to victory in the end.
