The 2000 WCC Knockout Trophy (simply and more commonly known as the Knockout Trophy) was the inaugural edition of the WCC Knockout Trophy.
It was a 50-over competition organized by the World Cricket Conference and as the name suggests, it was played in a single-elimination format.
Greece won the hosting rights and were awarded the tournament. Hence, despite being ranked outside the Top-16, they took part as the host nation.
