Well atleast Kohli fans on social won't have anything to boast about how good a Captain he was had India won the 2021 WT20. If we were a touch over-confident it was because of the attitude the entire side had carried and the same was promoted by our so-called Captain and the head coach!!!

Someone who treats a game in an ICC tournament like Warm-ups can't be expected to encourage the team during tough times. We were expected to be beaten by New Zealand and sail through by beating Pakistan, Scotland, Afghanistan and Namibia. That loss against Pakistan messed the entire calculation. This was a better unit capable of beating us!!!

Btw there are people who were saying that Pakistan beating India hampered India's confidence. But actually it didn't at all! We have played like this right throughout but it was just that the luck favoured us due to which some obvious blunders went unnoticed.

It was not a good draw of the Group. One Group has having three Rookie Sides while the other Group was full of Top teams including Bangladesh, its the other thing that Bangladesh disappointed big time in this WC. Pakistan and India Group was fairly easy with open margin to make defeats and improve NRR unlike the other Group.
