Yes really, this works different to how it works in real life.

That's the profit you'll make, and you'll get back what you originally bet on top of that.

E.g. If I bet 1000 on each, and DD win, then I get back one of the 1000s, plus 2.5 * 1000, which is a lot greater than the 2000 I originally bet. If DE win, then I get back one of the 1000s, plus 1.5 * 1000, which is still greater than the 2000 I originally bet.

The RL odds for this game would be $2.50 vs $3.50, which is impossible.

The RL odds for our game would be $1.67 vs $3.00, what's wrong with that?

This RL game ($1.45 vs $2.60) has pretty similar odds to our game, I'm not really sure what the problem is with it.

It was pretty much the same, in PC terms it was 0.50 vs 2.50, so in RL that's $1.50 vs $3.50, there's nothing wrong with that...

Well think of it this way.

If I put 20,000 on Jager Bombers, I would get 10,000 + the $20,000 so I would end up with 30,000.

So I put 9,000 on Doosras, I would get 22,500 + the 9,000 so I would end up with 31,500 while I only put in $29,000 all up. So I would either make a profit of 1k or 2.5k if I put in that amount of money. It wasn't that wrong as you couldn't really make a huge profit.
