Jus Wondering every1s thoughts on the second best leg spinner in world behind Warne
im thinking it would be out of MacGill, Kumble and Kaneria

Well statistically, it has to be Kumble without a doubt. He may not turn the ball as sharply as Kaneria, but he has a good cricketing mind that allows him take bag load of wickets against quality sides, at least at home anyway. Kaneria will be better as time goes on and he gains more experience, IMO.

As for MacGill, I've never seen him bowl so can't say.

Well I would say Macgill, he has been overshadowed by towering performances by Shane Warne and has not been able to get his share of wickets. In the future scene it wil be Kaneria, as he is growing as a cricketer and as a bowler with a variety of balls at his disposal.

Kumble is good "Wicket Taker" as we all know he dosent turn the ball....Kaneria is new good "Leg spinner"...lets wait and see.....

Was a hard decision between Kumble and Kaneria. Kumble outside India isn't so good and Kaneria is very promicing but has a while to go. I voted Kumble.

Kumble isn't the orthodox leg-spinner. Yet people call him one..its hard to place him in any category. He does turn a ball though, a little bit. Statistically he is the second greatest leg-spinner. Warne himself agreed to that, in international cricket the elite spin includes Warne, Murali and Kumble.

Kaneria has it in him to be one of them, though may be not the best. He needs to be more consistent but like people say, he is still growing and let him grow...there is no point in putting pressure on him. He will learn as time goes.

Well, Kumble's picked up 485 wickets in test cricket--not bad for someone who doesn't bowl well outside the subcontinent (last tour of Australia was a fluke) and who doesn't spin the ball. I think that currently he is quite easily the second-best spinner in world cricket. In the future, Kaneria may overtake him, but I think for Macgill, time will rule him out.

I think MacGills figures are so good because hes only really been brought in for conditions which suit him. Hes a good bowler but I really don't think he can be considered great.

Johan Botha. Nah, Anil Kumble. Not because he's from India but because he is truly a legend in Indian bowling history.

Its Kumble hands down, a clever thinking cricketer with a never-say die attitude, and with 485 test wickets to his name.
