9 Fielders on the rope.

Yep, after fielding restrictions were lifted (Twenty20), my opponent in an online game puts 9 men on the boundary rope.

And it went that way till the Twentieth over.

Wonderful, wasn't it?

*Just checking when I was bowling, the option to put 9 men on the rope is there, its like Defensive field 14 or something....

Gay bug that needs to be sorted out in that patch, because I'm very disappointed something this basic is allowed in a game.



(BTW, I don't know if this affects other game modes, such as ODIs, ICC CT 2006, or ICC WC 2007 but in a Custom Twenty20, Realistic, this bug is there.)

actually i like this field. its so easy to hit 4s and 6s that i dont mind to see all the fielders in the boundary.

look for the gaps man. there is usually one at long off and another at square leg. easy to score runs on really

He's not asking for help. He's just pointing out how fundamentally flawed this game is.

I managed to find the gaps every now and then, but my point is that what kind of game allows 9 fielders on the rope?

And to add to our misery, its a field you can choose from the list of the default fields that come with the game.

Maybe this patch will fix it?

(oh wait, can't get my hopes high, if its like EA )

Were the Fielding restrictions turned off in the options before the game

It was set to realistic.

So the restrictions were on.
