Well i am now glad you made that change. Hentschel tore it up!!! :D That's what we've been missing from him in the past 2 seasons. Great first up win at home, looking forward to the next week already.

Yeah mate, its abit ironic that the replacement i chose being best on ground

So, are you just going to do match summaries? It would probably be easier to run and would go faster. I personally like the in-depth reports but I'm cool with summaries as well.

Looking forward to the Saints v Demons match.

I reckon I`ll start doing previews before matches and longer summaries at Round 2 but i dont think i have the time to do in-depth reports. Sorry about that. I`m gonna start the Saints V Demons 1 just about now. :D

OffCutters added 55 Minutes and 26 Seconds later...

Match Summary

Another one-sided match in the AFL today, as OffCutter`s St Kilda thrashed Blake`s Melbourne by 80 points. The final score was 146 to 66. Now even though Melbourne were very dissapointing, have a look at Cameron Bruce and Nathan Jones, Bruce had 47 touches while Jones had 45 touches, that is simply amazing, grabbing 92 disposals between them. The reason why i think the Dees lost this was because of their lack of tackling pressure, most of their players only got 1 or 2 tackles with the exception of Jones and Bruce who got 5 and 6 tackles respectively. Now alot of talk has been around about this young kid, Jack Watts. No.1 Draft Pick and all that, yes we know that. That doesnt matter, it was how he performed on the field that mattered. And he had a pretty good debut, getting 16 disposals and a beautiful goal from the boundary.Jack Watts` junior coach did say he had a beautiful set shot and based on today`s performance, that was very much true. Now this was interesting, Blake, Melbourne`s new coach, decided to put on a very young team against a top 4 side from last year. Smart or Reckless? Smart I would say. Give the young boys a run and grab some experience and give them time to develop, I think is the right thing to do, so well done to Blake. Now for the Saints, they were very good, but i was not at all impressed with Xavier Clarke`s game. He grabbed 4 disposals and i think, will have a very hard time to stay in the squad if he continues on that poor form. Now, how about big old Kosi? He grabbed 30 posessions, 7 goals, 14 marks, 4 points and 5 tackles. If he continues on that form, we could be looking at a Coleman Medalist. The Skipper Nick Riewoldt had an equally spectacular game, kicking 6 majors, getting 29 touches, 11 marks, 2 points and 3 tackles. Now this is interesting 4 of St Kilda`s forwards got more than 25+ disposals. That is a good sign for the Saints I think. OffCutters will be very pleased with the way his team played today. Now That is all for us on the 5th Quarter, with St Kilda beating the Dees bu 80 points at Etihad in front of a crowd of 34,000. Good Night Everyone, See you at the long-awaited western derby with the Fremantle Dockers clashing against the West Coast Eagles.

That's a huge win their for offcutters. It was expected with the side that Blake put on the park. But they didn't do, too badly in the end. Davey and Miller were solid up forward, while their stars, Bruce and Jones got plenty of the ball. I think the Saints forward line was too strong and agile for the Melbourne defence.

Is the length of that summary enough? Because i guess i`m gonna do all my summaries about that long.

Fremantle Dockers

FB: Hayden, McPharlin, Grover
HB: Duffield, Tarrant, Broughton
C: Peake, Haselby, Palmer
HF: Ballantyne, Mayne, Johnson
FF: Headland, Pavlich, Mundy
R: Sandilands, Crowley, Schammer
INT: Suban, Hill, Ibbotson, Solomon

I'm not too disappointed. It was a fairly convincing loss but that was only to be expected with such inexperience on the field.

Very impressed by Bruce and Jones, Davey and Miller also played solidly. I am also very impressed by Kyle Cheney who had 29 touches from the back pocket, this kid has a long long way to improve and that's a great start.

I'm hoping for a better result next round but that was always going to be a tough one.

Hmm.... I suppose i can put you in but that would mean that a team will have a bye ( unless at least one more person decides to join)every round, i`ll put you in if everyone is alright with it. so everyone cool with that? Oh also i know i was meant to do Freo V Eagles today but i had a really long day at school and had footy training after it so couldnt find time to do it. I`ll promise to do it tomorrow night at most. Sorry guys.
