Nathan Buckley (Collingwood), Mark Riccuto (Adelaide) and Adam Goodes (Sydney Swans) have all won the 2003 Brownlow Medal in the first 3-way tie since 1930.

If you dont know what the Brownlow Medal is it is a medal for the best player(s) in the AFL Season. The umpires vote 3, 2 or 1 for each player after the match. They are all added up and the player with the most votes wins.

So its like the Best & Fairest award of the AFL

I don't think buckley was that happy with the tie
I think that he only wanted to win outright :tease: :tease:

yea

and James Hird from essendon missed 6 games for the year and came second with three votes behind!

James Hird and Scott Lucas have tied in the 2003 Crichton Medal (Essendon Best & Fairest)!
