Hey guys im thinking of starting up an AFL dream team competition, and this is how it is going to work. Everyone will post in there favourite player or the player they want to play with from any team. When we get enough players I will put you into teams, it will be 20 a side 17 on the field 3 on the bench. if someones player is injured or is not playing one of the players on the bench will fill in for them.
There will be a captain and a vice captain who will pick 17 players to play the match on the day. The scoring system is going to be based on how the players perform in real life. I will add up what everyone scores and then add the points up, the team with the most points wins.
EXAMPLE: Team 1= 300 Points DEFEAT Team 2=200 points
there will be a ladder, leading goal kicker, and THE PLAYER OF THE YEAR AWARD. the season will have 22 rounds, untill we know how many teams we are going to have, we wont know how many games a weekend we will have.
This is what the points are going to be based on.
GOAL= 6 points
POINT= 1 point
KICK= 3 points
MARK= 3 points
TACKLE= 4 points
