Match Wrap Up: Fremantle Crush Hawks

The Dockers have played terrific football defeating the Hawks...

lineup7-1-2.jpg

Fremantle kicked 5 goals in the opening quarter 3 of which came off the boot of skipper Matthew Pavlich. The Hawks struggled to maintain a reliable forward structure for all of the quarter. On the rare occassion when they earned a free kick or took a mark inside the forward fifty. They would squander their opportunity. The quarter time score:

Fremantle 5-3-33
Hawthorn 0-3-3

They continued to struggle throughout the second and third quarters kicking just 6 goals to Fremantle 12 up until 3 quarter time. The dockers run off half back killed Hawthorn the dockers playing like kings to lead by 37 points at half time.

Fremantle 9-4-58
Hawthorn 2-9-21

They continued to dominate kicking 4 of the first 5 goals in the third term. Giving Fremantle a 50 point lead, before Hawthorn slammed on 4 goals in 7 minutes courtesy of Lance Franklin who kicked his first of the day, Shane Crawford and Trent Croad who kicked the last 2 goals in the final minute of the quarter.

Fremantle 12-8-80
Hawthorn 6-13-49

The Dockers put Hawthorn to bed early in the final term, Pavlich putting through 2 in 2 minutes including one from inside the center square to finish the day with 7 goals. Farmer was quick to help out booting through his third, but Hawthorn replied through Ladson and Williams who both poked through goals from inside the 50 metre ark. But Justin Longmuir put the icing on the cake with a set shot from 45 to bring up his second and a 48 point win for the Dockers the final score:

But that was when the cats burst out of the blocks booting through 5 goals to the Dockers who only managed 1. The run off half back was cut off by the cats as they strangled Fremantle for the rest of the match. Quick goals reduced the margin to 29 points however midway through the third term through Farmer who booted 2.

But the Cats stopped Fremantle in their tracks after Pavlich kicked his 4th, kicking the final 4 goals of the game to become 61 point winners of Fremantle. The final score again

Weather-Clear, Windy,Warm

Match Wrap Up: Fremantle Scrabble Their Way To A 21 Point Win

The Dockers have beaten the Saints....

score9.jpg

Fremantle got off to a flying start kicking the first and only 3 goals of the opening quarter through spearheads Tarrant, Murphy, and Pavlich. They dominated around the stoppages, and their drive inside the forward 50 put plenty of pressure on the Saint Kilda defense resulting in scores against them. The quarter time score:

Fremantle 3-5-23
St Kilda 0-2-2

Fremantle continued the dominate pattern making it 4 in a row once midfielder Byron Schammer popped one in from 20 metres. But it was than that the Saints got on the board... twice. From Aaron Hamil and Fergus Watts but late goals from Fremantle ensured a comfortable half time advantage. The half time Score:

Fremantle 6-13-49
St Kilda 2-7-19

The Saints showed fight in the third term kicking quick goals after Freo Forward Chris Tarrant popped through his second. The third quarter was a scratchy affair with Roger Hayden for Fremantle getting reported for striking St Kilda's Lenny Hayes. But it was the Dockers who held the lead, the three quarter time score:

Fremantle 7-17-59
St Kilda 4-11-35

The final term was a much more free flowing quarter as soon as goals to Longmuir and Riewoldt occurred. St Kilda where being put under the pump with injuries to Milne and Dal Santo. Fremantle took advantage of the sore and unfit bench sending the ball to skipper Matthew Pavlich who put through his third despite being very off target kicking another 7 behinds. But the Saints managed to stop the margin blowing out when Riewoldt marked 45 metres out and kicked his second and final goal of the match. The final score again:

Fremantle 9-20-74
St Kilda 6-17-53

Match Wrap Up: Collingwood hold on to rallying Fremantle:

Collingwood have managed to hold on a galant Dockers outfit.....

anotherscore10.jpg

The Pies got off to a great start to this Friday Night blockbuster kicking the first 3 goals. Through Cloke, Rocca and Thomas. But it was than that Fremantle rallied kicking 2 both from Chris Tarrant against his old club. But it was Alan Didak who answered giving the pies the lead to the tune of 16 points, the score...

Collingwood 4-4-28
Fremantle 2-0-12

Fremantle answered in the second term booting 4 of the first 5 goals. Sandilandes was dominate in the ruck and Justin Longmuir booted through 3 of his own up forward. The pies answered though through Cloke who kicked a couple of steadiers for the pies. The half time score:

Collingwood 8-9-57
Fremantle 7-2-44

In a very even third term it is the Pies who still lead. They kicked the first of the quarter through Cloke yet again before Tarrant and Longmuir popped through goals. Lockyer and Burns answered with majors but in the final minute of the term Jeff Farmer put through one of his own, the three quarter time score:

Collingwood 12-11-83
Fremantle 10-3-63

In the final quarter Collingwood had a fright from Fremantle who booted through the first 2 of the quarter, and despite a 6th goal from Travis Cloke, Collingwood struggled in the term. Matthew Pavlich the dockers skipper finally came to the party booting through 3 in 10 minutes. As Fremantle late rally was stumped when a late goal to Dale Thomas sealed the match... the final score:

Inconsistent... sounds like a regular season by Freo, hehe ^_^

And with Freo relying on Pavlich to kick goals... I wouldn't even CONSIDER moving Pavlich from the forward line. He is a ball magnet (in real life and games) so having him inside 50 is the most obvious thing to do... and he's kicking all your goals. I'd consider rotating forwards in and out of the squad, like Taz, Farmer, Murphy, Mayne, that lot.

You'd be MAD to move Pav out of the forward line... if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Fremantle DockersVRichmond Tigers

Round 11, Sunday, 2:40 PM, Subiaco Oval

Weather-Fine, Sunny,Warm

Line Up:

lineup11.jpg

Match Wrap Up: Fremantle Hold on to Courages Tigers:

Fremantle have managed to hold off a surging tigers to win by 5 points.....

score11.jpg

Both teams struggled for goals early. Misfiring on numerous opportunity's before Shane Tuck for the Tigers earned a free kick in the goal square and put through the first of the match. But just minutes later in time on Matthew Pavlich marked and put through his and the dockers first to go quarter time leaders.

Fremantle 1-5-11
Richmond 1-3-9

The second term was a much free flowing affair the dockers put through the first 2 of the term from Chris Tarrant and Matthew Pavlich. But that was before the Tigers put the pedal to the metal slamming on 4 goal straight. But Ryan Murphy took a pack mark late in the quarter and goaled to close the gap. The half time score..

Fremantle 4-6-30
Richmond 5-6-36

It was raining goals in the second term. Fremantle booted 6 to the Tigers 5 for the quarter. Fremantle Ryan Crowley got the first of the term and Fremantle followed it up with the next 3 from Pavlich and Tarrant. The Tigers managed back to back goal and when Nathan Brown kicked a fantastic running snap from the boundary line it looked as though the Tigers would than roll Fremantle. But Tarrant put that to rest kicking his third. The Tigers again kicked 2 in a row but Pavlich reduced the margin to 2 points with a late goal for his sixth. The 3 quarter time score

Fremantle 10-9-69
Richmond 10-11-71

It looked to be a thriller but Richmond showed obvious signs of fatigue early in the final quarter with numerous tired kicks and turnovers. Resulting in Fremantle goals the dockers put together 4 straight 3 of which came off Chris Tarrants boot. Richmond's Troy Simmonds managed to put through his third. But when Chris Tarrant goaled his 7th it looked to finish a landslide affair. But it would be in favor of the Tigers. Booting 3 in a row from Newman, Foley, and Tambling. But it would be to no avail Fremantle holding on for a 5 point win.

Fremantle 15-12-102
Richmond 14-13- 97

score12.jpg

The Dockers started off the better with the first 4 goals. But a goal from bulldog Robert Murphy stemmed the flow before freo got there act together again kicked the last 2 goals both of which came of Pavlich's boot who finished with 3 for the term. The quarter time score:

Western Bulldogs 1-3-9

In a much tighter second term. The bulldogs came out the better kicking the first 2 goals of the term. From Gilbee, and Hahn. But Fremantle replied strongly with Justin Longmuir kicking the next 2 goals to go in leaders:

Fremantle 8-8-56
Western Bulldogs 3-8-26

The dockers played great football kicking the first 2 goals of the final term. The bulldogs replied but a goal from Justin Longmuir blew out the margin to 23 points. However 3 goals in time on from the bulldogs through Eagleton and Brad Johnson who kicked 2 of those 3. Reduced the margin to 5 points the dockers managed to hold on however by 5 points. Haha, CARN THE DEES. NAB Cup grand final, here we come!

Shame we can't perform better in real life. We look woeful this season.

Good start to your story, but as other people have pointed out Footy Fanatic has updated lists and is very easy to use and very detailed and clean stats. You can also easily access and edit their database with all of the players, and edit skills, right foot kicking, handballing, marking, passing, tagging, height, weight, town of birth, etc.

hey i just got microsoft acces but i dont know how to change the players skills on footy fanatic fx please help
thanks in advance jarryd

Lol you dont change their skills. You train them. To get the better.

EDIT

Well from blakes post. I have no idea how you can do it if you can.

Hey everyone. Unfortunately i will be closing this story. Because this weekend i very well may be getting a new computer. And so being that i will make a new story once i download FFFX on that computer. So i would just like this thread to be closed. Thanks everyone for your support in this thread.
