Alert Windows Update 0x00000020

hi I was hoping for some help please just enjying the game again with franco's dbc hack, started the game up but keep getting an ALERT an ssl error occured while communicating with the server. Its says I need a windows Update 0x00000020. I am running in Win 7 and never had this problem before. Please help

found the problem go to change date and settings, find the internet time, click change settings and click time.windows.com and update....it works YES

I tried it but it did not help. I am still getting the error.

Same issue here. I can see windows ran an auto update 2 days ago, but the game was working fine when I last started it only a few hours ago.

I wonder if this is network related - it does mention this occurs when communicating with the server.

Further info:

Windows 10 steam install.
When booting the game, all loading screens appear as normal.
As the big ant logo and drum sound (?) appear before the main menu screen the sound of the error window popping up can be heard.
The main menu is not loaded, instead the error mentioned above appears at the bottom left.
Pressing A on the controller for "OK" just re-loads the error window.
This occurs when I believe the usual copy protection check is done online.
Can confirm my PC is online when this occurs.
Can confirm windows is up to date.

@HBK619 or someone from bigant - any suggestions?

Same error here. Started today. Windows did update last night. Internet time was set to time.ms. Re-applied it any way. Still no worky. Any ideas?

So I believe this is happening with all the users having genuine copy of the game.
Never faced this issue earlier.

Good find. Seems it's nothing bigant have done, just an issue with however they run copy protection as you mentioned Gaffski.

Guys
I found a temp solution for this error.
I changed the system date 1 year back and game works as usual again.
I am running Win7 x64.
You all can try this until patch comes.
