All Reps

A perfect example of people just assuming what people will say and not actually reading it. :

I know mods can see who repped them and I am 90% sure there is a hidden category that has a thread called reps that has em all in there. But I dont think you can get your own (I am going by my matess forum)

Even I can not see who left me reps so don't expect to get it so easily. Only the globies and admins have access to the rep logs and you can not see who left you reps for a reason.

The rep system will never be publicly viewable and for good reason.

Can you at least tell us this good reason then please?

Given the current situation on the rep system, I don't think it would be worth someone like Matt spending time on implementing a new system.

Unfortunately it was only one line that needed changing, so I couldn't blame time.

The page to view your entire rep history is located here. Now one of the reasons you only see 10 reps is because of the strain on the server that is caused by going and getting all of your reps from the database, so loading them all every time you go into the User CP is unnecessary (it doesn't matter if a few people do it occasionally, hence this happening, but if it loaded every time it would cause problems). So only use this page if you have a reason to go back and look at the old ones, not for every day use.

You will still be unable to see who gave you the reps.

Edit: Forgot to mention, if you have received more than 5000 reps, you won't see them all, as that is the limit that is set for that page, though I'm fairly sure that won't be a problem for anyone (except Duff perhaps).

Because reps would become even more meaningless if everyone just sent them back and forth just because someone else left them a good/bad rep.

My first ever rep was a bad one when i came on and told all the aussies england were still better than them despite losing 5-0 tbh I didn't actually think Australians existed until I came on here. and my third ever one was kev telling me I'm gay (not in a bad way and he obviously had the right idea)

It fils me with warmth to see everyone telling me how much they love me. Even some of the ruder members.....Will.
