All-time Players

hey guys i had a really good idea. i want to create a new roster that includes all-time players for all the countries (except for usa, canada, namibia, etc) but am unaware of who i would include in them.

my knowledge of cricket history is limited, and i dont need specifications like batting ability or anything like that, because i can do the research once i have the names.

please, can someone help me?

So, let me see if i understand you here, you want to try to make a roster for each team, which will include the all time 11 players?

If this is so, somthing like this has been done here;

very close to it, Simbazz.

but i was looking for something more like per country. for example (because im australian)

an australian all-time roster would include

- d. bradman
- a. border
- s. warne
- i. chappell
- g. chappell
- w. lawry
- r. benaud
- d. lillee
- r. marsh
- j. thompson
- i. healy
- s. waugh
- m. waugh
- m. taylor

... etc

until all the spots are finished.
this is just an example of the australian squad. id eventually like a list of players for all major international teams. stats not required

No problem,

I think it will be a big patch to put together, as you would obviously need faces making etc...

if you toddle down the PC main page to the C2005 downloads and posted a kind community help message im sure people will be interested, but obviously you need to pick a decent team, why not do it one team at once? Let people post down there ideas of who should be in the Australian squad, keep a note of them all, maybe in your first post, then you being the main person in this can decide who makes it or give people a list of 30 greats at cut 10 out.

i remember there being all-time squads on EA Sports' Cricket 2002 game that needed unlocking. i have since sold the game unfortunately. if someone still has it, would they mind listing the players names?

Your best bet is posting somthing about it in the C2005 download forum about your plans as see who pipes up.
