There couldn't have been a better way to start a series opener. While drama and tension was brewing in the Pakistan dressing room, everyone was unsure of how this would turn out. But what we witnessed was a truly remarkable display of cricket. Both sides gave out their best, whilst also making a few regrettable mistakes, and thus it came to an even result. Just like a great movie getting poeple all to excited for the sequel, the series opener surely set the atmosphere perfectly for the upcoming matches.
But now there is also this unbearable tension alongside it, which is becuase of the situation revolving around Asad Raza. The former captain decided to take a break after the match fixing fiasco which got him sacked from the position of captain. His sacking also induced riots in Pakistan who stood against the decision to bring him back as captain. After his announcement the riots grew more than ever and chaos ensured, as fans demanded the PCB to give Asad the respect he deserves. Pakistan's newly appointed captain, Shahid Younus, has made it clear that he won't let the previous affairs or the riots in Pakistan have any impact on their morale and performance. But as we head to the 2nd ODI, we still can't but feel uncertain about the series, and the future of Pakistan Cricket.

Overview: The Paksitani lineup is all-round well balanced. Opener Neptune Gaming is getting his first game, being the partner of the reliable opener Umair Nazim. And the dashing Babar Azam is picked to fill the spot for Asad Raza. Captain Shahid Younus, Talha Hayat, Ahmed Leo and Maheer Amir are also fearsome prospect for the opposition.

Some extremely questionable tactics cost us, like going with 4 pacers and a medium pacer? That doesn't happen during Test matches in England even these days. And the move backfired massively. Shadab or Nawaz here would have been ideal.
Also, why was Talha promoted to #3, despite nothing extraordinary from the bat? Why was my replacement, Babar Azam, forced to bat at #4, which is not his natural number? So of course he would've gotten out for a golden duck. They could have easily been shuffled.
I would like to see better tactics from the management in the next game for the sake of our team! Good luck!
