Well where to start. Very shockingly dreadfull season for me. I must admit the standard of play seems to have stepped up a notch since last year. My problem was I batted slow... too slow. I had matches where I'd bat the entire innings and only end up with 20 odd runs, these are 25 over matches as well. I started the season opening but then finished off lower down the order because of my incapability to score quickly. In all I finished up with an average of 15.20 with a top score of 27*. Still being vice captain and then eventually captain towards the end of the season was pretty awesome :happy.
My bowling however was pretty good managed to take 17 wickets in the 10 matches I played in with best figures of 3/4 off of 5 overs. The only reason my bowling went so well was because I mixed it up with quick to spin to swing and the batsman seemd to struggle quite a bit.
Anyhoo now that the seasons over I'm going to go and relive it on Cricket 07 instead of real life.
Anyway enough about me how'd your season go?
