AUS Tour Opener at Cardiff:

David Gower: Well its pleasure to welcome u all to this Live Coverage of the Ashes here in Sky Sports and AUS are begining their tour after all that hype today at cardiff against Leiciestshire in a 50 over one dayer.

David Gower: Well its prettty overcast here in cardiff the match i suspect would not be affected by the wether i presume.

Here is the conditions that prevail here in Cardiff

My 550 th post!

Pitch Report by Ian Botham:

" Well its a nice flat hard deck and i think the bounce is the key on this wkt, the ball will have a lot of bounce enabling the batsman to play all the shots in the book, better to bat first and put a huge score"

Rusty Start to the Tour for AUS, Leicestshire bowled out for 263.

Mcgrath and Gillespie bowl poor spells, Martyn is the surprise package, scalps five wkts.

Well AUS bowled out the host for a 263 but not before the home batsman played some lovely attacking cricket to dent the psyche of the AUS bowlers as the most seniour most bowlers Mcgrath and Gillepsie bolwed poorly as AUS really think loose, Thanks to Matryn Aus recoverd well to restrict the host to under 300, Martyn 5-50.

cannot wait for Australia V England to start ! Australia hav to beat India first in the Natwest Pentangular finals before facing England .

Lecistshire stuns World Champs by 23 runs. Great win says Captain and Coach

Australia batted poorly without any lack of aggression in the early overs that too from the most feared opening combination in world cricket and in the end found it too diffilcult to accelerate in the end and lost it end by 23 runs, shame to the way they paced their innings.

Hayden and Gilly ewhere the culprits as they struggled to time the ball and the openign bowlers need to be praised to keep them quiet
