Assofty's Text tutorial for beginners

I have some free time so made this tutorial i know it is very simple but may be it will help noobs..........






In this tutorial i will tech you how to make a text in Photoshop Like this:-

First create a new document go to File>New.I prefer 500X500 size.

Now take Paint bucket tool(G)

.Fill it with color #d8d8d8.Now go to layer>layer style>Gradient overlay.


change the blending mode to soft light.

Now type 'Photoshop' not in captial letters.I take color #6f6f6f.

now go to layer and select duplicate layer so you can see that their are two text layers in layer coloum.

Select the bottom text layer means 'Photoshop' layer and go to Layer>Layer Style>color overlay. Set color of overlay to #00acae and click ok.

Now move this layer slightly to right using your arrow keys like this.

Now creat a new layer above the text layer, go to layer>new>Layer click ok or simply by ctrl+Shift+n.

Take Elliptical Marquee tool(right click on this symbol

Using Elliptical Marquee tool make a circle and fill it with White colour by Pait bucket tool like this...

Change the blending mode of this layer from Normal to Soft light and opacity to 80%.

Now press ctrl+alt+g or go to layer>create clipping mask(Make sure that you have selected the cricle layer means layer 2)
you will get something like this..

Now click on this circle

and select Gradiet Map and select Black And white map.

Set the blending mode of this Gradient map to Softlight and opacity to 75%.

Now type 'Tutorials' this time text is "Bickham Script Pro" and colour #005b85.

Now create a new Layer Ctrl+Shift+N. Set colour to #059aa0.

Take out brush tool(B)

adjust the size as you want aand make dots over the text like this

Set the blending mode of this layer to screen and opacity to 80%.

So, Here's the outcome
