ATi Radeon 9250

Is anyone using this card to play the game? What's the gameplay like?

It says on the back of the cover that ATi Radeon 9000 is compatible - is 9250 compatible as well?

It should be, I have Radeon 9550 and its fine. And yours should be to. The man to ask on this subject is the_gas lol.

I used a Radeon 9200 128mb for the game before updating. It worked fine, getting 35fps at 800x600. Obviously it doesn't look great, but it looks good enough to please.

Make sure that your drivers are up to date also, and it should run the game fine.

Who? If you mean the mobility, its a laptop based version of your graphics card.

No, i mean has he tried the ATi 9250 on his desktop computer and it works or is he just guessing?

What are your other specs? On a desktop the card itself will be fine.

I got 512mb ram...upgrading to 1Gig soon...so are u sure that the 9250 will be fine?

I've Got a 9250 w/256mb and 1gb of ram and the game runs pretty good on high graphics and 1024x768 85hz there is slight lag every now and then but until i can fully rebuild my comp i aint touching nothing

The thing is the demo wokrs perfectly with my integrated card...but the game doesnt. And as the 9250 is one of the cheapest cards i was thinking of buying that.

I wouldnt recommend buying that card.Reason : Simple,it has no native support for directx 9.It is a directx 8 based card.So even though this game MIGHT just play reasonably decent,i can assure u that it would suck with all the other new games (plus if u plan to use vista,you wont be able to use Aero glass, which is the new cool-looking interface of vista)

I've just bought myself a Radeon X1650 and it plays all my games great with around 40fps even on Oblivion. I think i get around 90 on BLIC. And all for just ?70
