Hey guys, looked everywhere I could and found no answer so hoping someone has one for me in the next hour or so.. :) Is the final of the australian domestic league 4 days or 5 days? Finished 2nd on the ladder (WA) and I assume a draw is all NSW needs to win. Starting day four 5 wickets down with a lead of 110, would love to know if I need to go crazy and get a decent score then declare (I'm captain and currently batting) or if there will be a fifth day so I can take less risky shots. Not like my team deserves to win, but I've played the innings(s) of my career to give us a chance (thanks to bangladesh n paki T20 leagues for the skill points to boost my player :) )

Cheers guys.

You didn't look hard enough. Its 5 days after a 2 minute google search.

I must have been looking in the wrong places (using search on this forum only..) I used to google dbc17 stuff but always saw links to this forum or steam (which gave no real input) either way, thank you so much mate, I appreciate it very much!

Wow, Warriors in a Grand Final... Which fantasy land is this...?

It's 5 days but I am not 100% sure if this is programmed into the game...

haha, yeah, considering marshx2 = opener and first drop, amateur league at best :P I rejoined the team after 8 of the 10 or so games due to T20 commitments overseas and actually laughed when I saw us in 2nd with 2 to play.

My game finished at the end of the FOURTH day so it's not a 5 day final.[DOUBLEPOST=1492573529][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah I didn't know either which is why I was asking. Either way we have an answer now, in the game it's a 4 day match but I'm unsure exactly how the winner is determined. I finished 2nd on the ladder but a draw was enough to claim victory. ( I was well on top)

With scores of 343 for 5, 431 and 657 is it any wonder that the game ended in a draw
This game is supposed to be realistic YET Australian developers can't get the Sheffield Shield Season final's correct? Really?

But then again they had 15 games played in DBC-14 in a Sheffield Shield Season , when the reality is it's only 10 games IIRC. So go figure?

Me thinks you need to up the difficulty son.

While admittedly it appears to be an oversight, remember that this is not the actual Sheffield Shield, it's just a generic domestic first class tournament. Maybe they weren't allowed to have a 5 day final as it would then too closely have replicated the actual competition?

Probably an oversight.

I'm not surprised it ended in a draw with those scores in a 4 day game but we did have them at 7/ in the final innings needing a couple hundred runs (maybe that's how they determined my team won the final) so there definitely would have been a result in a 5 day game. Either way, it's good to know for next time.

Also yeah due to recently playing a few T20 tournaments, I gained a lot of quick SP and boosted my batting skills a lot. It made a huge difference in domestic games so I've started playing around with the custom sliders to make it more realistic. I just wish we knew what the default settings were for easy/medium/hard etc and be able to customise off that but I'm surprisingly enjoying playing around with the sliders trying to make games more realistic. I recently got promoted to play for the Aussie T20 and ODI teams and it's a lot harder but fun so hopefully I have the custom settings set to a good level.

Yea I was surprised how much of a boost the T20 format gives you. 15,000 a match! It's insane. Saying that, I'm still an average batsman in First Class, well every class to be honest :P

What difficulty are you on, batting, bowling and match?
