Red Bull Racing? Uhm....
Only just seen this so I'm a bit late in replying.

Red bull own Redbull racing they dont sponsor it. I was refering more to the likes of Marlboro Ferrari, West Mclare, John Player Special Lotus etc etc.

I've heard commentators including Marlboro before, not so much with West with McLaren.

With the way they played against the PM's IX, NSW and SA, I doubt it.
I'm sure most Poms would even consider their performance so far as simply pathetic.
I personally was expecting much better from them, but history shows
that as quickly as an England team rises, is as quick as they fall.

I'm betting England will eventually follow with this Sponsor naming scheme,
but I certainly hope they don't, as it would turn into a global trend.

Bankers maybe but they'll always be those dirty aussies to me :p
Funny you should say that, considering we have a higher standard of living here.
England's rated 12th and slipping, we're currently 8th and rising - thanks to
our endless supply of natural resources. Heck, Australia's even a richer country
then England. And, also have a better society to boot - why do you think Poms
and Yankees are flocking here in record numbers... < that's rhetorical.

Thank God I'm only half Pom, I'd feel as sorry for myself as I do for you
if I was a full-blooded Pom. :D

All-in-all, don't bag a country and its people if you don't appreciate your
own nation and people being attacked, because 9 times out of 10,
that's what will happen, and in the end you've only yourself to blame.

I very much doubt you where Kev, maybe Andrew G just read it wrong.

I think its pathetic renaming a team just for a bit of money, its not like the Australia board are in debt is it? They have so many TV rights and having just won the CT, i doubt they needed to do this. Ill call them Australia, im sure commentators will, im sure most people on here will, and the rest of the world will (Who watch cricket obviously).

And just defending the country i live in here......England is a great country to live in, and saying that Americans (Why Yankees? The way you implied it is that you were talking about the whole of America, not just the area of the "Yankees") I lived in America till i was around 7, and from what i remember of it, it was ok, but i love England, its better than America, and im sure Australia, it may not have the sun, but we have team pride, and our team is surely more together due to players such as Freddie, Vaughan and some others. To me the Aussie players are just out for themselves, maybe not Lee, sometimes not Mcgrath, Defiantly not Warne. The biggest non-team player is the captain by far, he may we be, but its just the impression he gives me. This isn't personal, so don't think it is, its just me defending the country i live in :)

Richer country?

5th best economy in the world and we are far richer than Australia. We've just spent ?75 Billion on a nuclear programme for the next 20 years. As for a better society? :D

Australia is a beautiful country but it's far from being richer than Britain.

You have 30 Million more people than us, of course you're going to be bloody richer than us. Gee why not compare yourself to the Solomon Islands while you're at it. But if comparing yourselves to country who's population you more than double makes you feel big and important then go for it, we're fine :)
