I cant wait for this. It is going to be a cracker of a series. After the Indias home ODI series and Australias home ODI and Test series this one is going to be the iceing on the cake.

Its going to be 10x better then the ODI's last year in India imo.

Only five? at least seven. :p

Well, this is going to be the most anticipated test series of the year, I can garuntee that. Tough to call, but I'll have to say, India have the home field advantage so I'll have to call them favourites, plus the fact that they haven't lost a test series at home since . . . well Australia beat them in 04/05, as a matter of fact.

Well, I can tell you one thing - if ever there was a series that would not be played in good spirit, it's this one.

Dravid need to get energised for India to win. Gauti will also play important role I think. In bowling we need Chawla to get better as Bhajji is waste in Test matches.

i think india will win this one... they have good in-form batsmen like gambhir, tendulkar, ganguly, dhoni etc... aussie batsmen have always been struggling against ishant and sreeshant...

I'm looking forward to Dravid scoring a huge double century in his home ground in the first test - be a great way to shut up his idiot critics.

And I think that it is a must for Gambhir to open - sorry, but Jaffer has to go. Also, I think that if Harbajan doesn't perform in the first test, Kumble has to take the oppurtunity to drop him.

Here's the team I think India will go with in the first test:

1) Sehwag
2) Gambhir
3) Dravid
4) Tendulkar
5) Ganguly
6) VVS Laxman - Scourge of the Aussies
7) MS Dhoni
8) Harbhajan Singh
9) Zaheer Khan
10) Sreesanth/RP Singh
11) Ishant Sharma

Dravid is past it. When we are closer to the series I will make an avvy challenge with you.

If Dravid scores a century in the series I will have a "Dravid is better then Clarke" avvy. If he doesn't you can have a "Clarke is better then Dravid" avvy. Deal?

Personally I think Dravid is a waste at Number 3. If your going to play him, you play him early to take the shine off the ball then Tendulkar at 3 to go lift the temp or if he has to face Lee with a new ball. No point pretecting him from the new ball at Number 4.

Deal!

The loser has to use that avvy for at least a week. :p

Anyways, I think Dravid is instrumental at number three so that he can anchor the innings.

If he doesn't come at no.3, this is probably the squad India will go with.

1) Sehwag
2) Dravid
3) Laxman
4) Tendulkar
5) Gambhir/Ganguly
6) Ganguly/Gambhir
7) MS Dhoni
8) Harbhajan Singh
9) Zaheer Khan
10) Sreesanth/RP Singh
11) Ishant Sharma

12) Mohammed Kaif

I really can't see sachin going anywhere but four - that's been his regular test match batting position for decades.

I'm expecting Hussey to really fire in this series - along with Symmonds.

Thats a better line-up in my opinion.

Oh and with our avvy challenge, yeah we will do it for a week.
