Yeh exactly, the basics of Maths is:

1+1= 2.

I still struggle with that, let alone all these x's and n's and random formulas.

Yeah, I'm struggling with year 11 maths applied, that's hardly basic =/

All what I can say, the subject Mathematics is of great help everywhere.. in whatever professional field you go in career..Its not that tough to pick it up.. just there will be few hiccups at the beginning and then interest will develop automatically if we take that as challenge. And perhaps, it differ from person - person. I was basically interested in mathematics right from my childhood days.
