Bats From Scratch?

Guys im really confused wen people say bats made from scratch i mean Burma did u make them on ur own like without using any pics can someone make a tutorial of how to make bats from scratch and how to u make ur bats 4gb or 2gb

They use a picture but only as a reference,all the graphics and texture of the bat are made from scratch,i.e without any pictures.
 
but isnt that just hard and impossible it must take so much time and how come they look exactly lik the real things and do u no how to make bats 4gb?

You can't really make a tutorial for making bats from scratch because every bat is different. You just have to use basic shapes and some effects really. And remember you don't have to make the bat companies logo from scratch, just find a large one on the internet.
 
so Burma how do u make them 4GB and do u use the logos for some bats or are they totally from scratch?
 
yer looks too hard to make for my liking btw BF i like your new title :D

Anyone can try to make a bat from scratch. As long as you have good clear pictures and the right tools then you should be fine, choose an easy bat to make at first like a Gray-Nicolls or a Slazenger, (god knows why you would want to :p), and progress from there is what I'd say.

Keep using references from the pictures is what I'd say and good luck.

Yep, using the right tools is key. I made this start of a bat using just the fill tool, gradient, lasso and text tool.

omg that looks good i hav the tools on photoshop but dunno how to use them i mean how did u get them straight lines in the arrow and i swear i cant even get a staright line in my Photoshop

Well the font is just times new roman made Strong... and the size is self explanitary, you just resize it until it fits the space it needs to go in.
 
see wot bout all the otha stuff lik the lines in the arrow and all that please do a tutorial coz GM was the bat i was trying to make
