how does it loook at lower resolutions? i doubt itll look that good at 1280x1024, im pretty sure bf took at 1600x1200 and lowered to the pic res

I take that you guys liked it:) I will send lower res ones (1GB AND 2 GB) to BF and then we can compare

Yeah those pics are from 1600*1200 screenshots. I just cropped them so that all the extraneous stuff was removed. I didn't do any scaling though. That's how they look 1:1.

OK, here's the comparison you asked for. All images were cropped from 1600*1200 screenshots with 16xAF and 4xAA.

It does sort of.. I would really liek to see the difference on the smaller details between the 2GB and 4GB Bats....

The reason they look similar is fairly simple. The bat textures for 2GB and 4GB are 512*1024 and 1024*2048 respectively. Those screenshots were taken at a resolution of 1600*1200 with the bat itself taking up say 200*650 of screenspace at most. You won't see any difference until the ratio of texture to screen-space occupied is skewed in favour of the screen. Basically, unless you run the game at 2048*1536, you will never see a difference between 2GB and 4GB.
