well another way is to go to c2k5 folder and then the "support" folder.
inside it , double click on the "easyinfo" and a screen will pop-up showing
your system configuration. the ones inside the "red" bar in the 2nd pic shows which graphic card you use , its memory , driver etc

Unfortunately, we have already discovered that SIS 600 series cards do not work with 4GB bats. Sorry. You can see the list of the graphics cards which have passed and failed on page 1 of this thread where, I'm afraid, I'm going to have to add yours.

Yes you do have a graphics card or you would be staring at a blank screen with a perplexed look on your face. If you want to know which card you have, follow JK's instructions above or follow mine in the post above that one. It would be helpful (for you and for me) to know which one it is.

NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 is your card. You really should keep your drivers up to date. You can get the latest ones here.

Just to make sure all of this is clear:

NVidia is the manufacturer of the Graphics Processing Unit (GPU)
GeForce 4 is the series to which your card belongs (the most recent series would be the equivalent of GeForce 7 series).
MX 440 is the particular model from that series.

I dissagree with the fact that sis cards don't work with 4gb bats i have on on my laptop, it runs 128mb graphics and runs you bats at 1024*768
