I don't know if anyone is even playing BLIC '05 anymore but if you are and you would like the to have the latest bats to use in high-res format (512*1024), I will be posting them here as I begin converting some of my C2K5 collection.

To start off with, I thought I may as well do the very most recent bat which is Marcus Trescothick's new Gunn & Moore Catalyst.

BF are these bats replacing the same ones? Because from mine and other peoples experiences more then 2 2gb bats will crash the game, as i found out when i made my 2gb batpack for BLIC.

I'm sad to say this, but I've just installed a fresh copy of BLIC (My old one was such a mess from trying out graphics and patches I uninstalled it) and when I installed these bats the game crashed.

Edit:

I've done some further testing on this, it seems to be related to what resolution you run the game at, I increased the game resolution and was able to install all 3 of these bats plus an extra one not posted here.

Ok, so Kev and I have been trying to get to the bottom of this problem with the result that he can now get my bats to work at any resolution. The problem was that I had been creating them with only 1 mip-map and using a DXT3 format.

I should point out that while I have had no problems making this work at 1600*1200, apparently it gets screwed up at lower resolutions and causes crashing. I have now converted the bats posted here so that they should work perfectly for anyone and everyone. :D

Cheers Kev. :cheers

So, having sorted all the problems above, here's Ricky Ponting's new Kahuna.
