Well, I thought it was all sorted at 2GB quality but after I had installed several of them, I started getting the dreaded crashes. Still, it seems that even if I make them at 2GB and then reduce them to 1GB then they still come out really sharp as you can see from Damien Martyn's Kookaburra Kahuna Icon below.

Hmm.... that would explain why my bank balance is so tragic!

Basically it seems as though 1GB really is the absolute limit for a full bat pack. You can get away with a few 2GB bats but it's really not worth the risk as it seems that replace.bag is rather fragile and doesn't like being "violated" by large bats.

I'm sure most of us peasants wont notice the difference between one of these bats in 2gb or 1gb in our games. Unless you run the game at a massive resolution it wont make any difference anyway.

Wow - these bats are fantastic. So there still are a few people who play BLIC. I had one of those weird crashes before installing the bats, so I'll try and get it going and see what I can do with the bats.

You're right of course Kev. It's just a shame as I spent so much time making them at 512*1024 for C2K5 it would have been nice to do the same for BLIC rather than having to reduce them.

Also, from a selfish point of view, I wanted to have the sharpest images possible in my own game as I do play at 1600*1200. Such is life.
