I don't think Andrew Symonds is a total all rounder..he is not all that good as a bowler..and is also a part - time bowler.Yes he is an all rounder, but weak on the bowling side.
EVERYONE BLOODY FORGOT TENDULKAR!!!!!!!
A great all rounder early in his career as Ganguly was but quite underbowled now-a-days. Still capable of tossing down his share of overs in ODIs as is Jaisuriya. You didn't mention Paul Strang- and excellent leg-spinning all rounder, a rare breed, who has been a victim of the ZCU, and is still capable for a spot in the Zimbabwe side. Yuvraj Singh and Tillakaratne Dilshan have also been forgotten, the former underbowled and the latter unexperienced, but both still serious contenders.
Otherwise Dwayne Bravo for me!!
An after thought, why no Gillespie or McGrath???????
Kallis could bat for any team in the world as a genuine top order bat (positions 1-4), here feddie would also (in my opinion) get in any team in the world but only as a specialist no.6
so taking that into account, Id say kallis is the better bat, both statistically and technique wise!
However, freddie is in a different class of bowling to kallis. Fred would get into the ENG team as a bowler however i dont think the same could be said for kallis.
Both are very different types of players, and thus its hard to tell which player is overall better......................its easier to break it down and see who you would rather have in your side in certain situations
