There are a number of players who bat & bowl really well.So who's the best of them?

Probably Symonds for ODI's

Tests, hmmm thats a hard choice.

Where's Glenn McGrath? The best batting all-rounder: Jacques Kallis, the best bowling all-rounder: Shaun Pollock, the best all round all-rounder:):Andrew Flintoff

i dont know if kallis should count as an allrounder anymore, he's still bowling but hes taken less than 50 wickets in tests and 30 in one dayers in the last 3 years. by contrast, i think flintoff has taken about 90 test wickets in that time.

also, for my money, id pick jacob oram over scott styris.

If a kiwi is saying Symonds is the best he must be :) On current form symonds should be right up there. But Afridi is right up there. Symonds when at his best probably is the best as he can bowl off spin fairly well (better than Giles) medium pacers aint the worst and his batting is sensation.

Afridi isn't a consistent choice in the team though. Flintoff for me. SO reliable.

It has to be Flintoff and Kallis. Both r equally good. Afridi and Jayasurya are a bit short in bowling department.

:cheers

pathan? all-rounder?nonono...hes just a bowler who can hit a ball. Id compare him to Darren Gough in batting terms
