Best Bat Ever?

Will, you sure you're not working for Gunn & Moore! Even if they are the best bats around.

Well im hoping to get sponsored and also i sometimes work in this shop and and they have good realtion with Gm lol, but yeh it is a classic bat!

A mate of mine has a G&M, "Cavalier" I think, it felt a little too heavy for my liking when I last used it but a mighty beast nevertheless. When I recently bought my bat, I found myself taunted by the excessiveness of the Gray Nichols Longbow as well as the sheer coolness of the Kooka Diablo (it's all about the little demon). I ended up taking home a Kooka Sword 5000 (it was marked down 50%), I strongly doubt it's the best bat ever, but it is well balanced and very elegant and I'm keen to give it a go.

Today My club had a match againts another club.I forgot to take my bat with me.One of my old friends had too bats one was light one was heavy probably around what sachin use's.So i decided to play with the heavy bat(never played with it before)I felt that I am carrying a big heavy cat in my hand. The grip wasnt that good(You know how it feels when you dont have good grip)

So I went batting 5 down and believe me after you settle your self well You can just touch the ball and the ball just runs to the boundry in a minute(hard ball)I was so happy with that bat and I am probably going to use for the rest of the season. It was brilliant and sachin was right using heavy bats with lead you scoring more runs and unfortunately that was my case today.

Gunn and Moore MAxi 5 Star L.E for me. Perfect balance, pickup from heaven and a sweet spot to match.

Reading your nickname I doubt people would believe you ;)

i actually earn my living from selling bats in a sports store. im also lucky enough to have direct contact with the manufacturers of grey nich which leads me to saying that a few of the top line grey nichs that i have seen would be my top bats. the matrix and the gladius, probably the grade 1 players choice are the top i have seen. going back a few years and the ss jumbo was an awesome tree with handle

Lol yes, but those inside edges often end up going for 4 ;)

Well, nothing wrong with never getting edges, but I must admit, you are the first person I have ever heard of saying that. I mean, even the pros get edges, and often ;)

I can't hit the ball, let alone edge it....
But I can block quite well, without edging.....
