Best England Spinner?

Tried Batty and Giles but they both (like in real life) don't get much spin. I go with Ian Blackwell for his batting ability alone but is there any spinner who can bowl like Warne and Murali in the game. I've also tried Monty Panesar and Jason Brown with no luck.

Yeah, therein lies the problem...
You can either create your own or change Shane Warnes nationality!

In real life the best option these days is obviously Blackwell. :P But if you're looking for a spinner who gets some turn, try one of the leg spinners like Schofield or Salisbury.

They're both leg spinners. Haven't tried Salisbury but schofield's a pretty good bowler in the game and has decent batting stats. Blackwell's batting shades it for me though, in real life he averages 40 or so with the ball! and would never make the test line up.

I dare to think what the 'nation's leading spinner' Ashely Giles would do.

Ashley Giles is a good bowler apart from the fact HE DOESN'T SPIN THE BALL!

And of course he doesn't bowl it straight half the time! But that's something you can always put right yourself on the game!

One things for certain, Giles isn't! Blackwell probably made himself open with Freddie! :P

But judging by the ecstatic look on his face he's just found another bug in the game! :blink:

I guess in the end he gave up and went for something a bit more hi-tec...

Doesn't look like Blackwell is playing cricket 2004 as he would be more relaxed and would be sitting back he'd only be sitting like that if he was playing a racing game!

Ashley giles is an absolute legend, hes come through so much stick frm the media and guys like u to put in the peformance ov his life against new zealand, without him we would have not won the third nd final test! long may giles be in the england squad! GILES IS GOD!

well england really need a good spinner, in my mind we have none atm, i want to be the next england spinner Im an off spiner, had 2 county trials and only 14

middlesex, had them at age 12 and 13, mainly for my off spin but im an opening bat too, i want to get one again next year as ive been scoring a few 50's and taking wickets this year.
