Merry Christmas every one!!!!!
as we know, 2005 is coming to a halt, and this has been a very interesting year for cricket. we have had England finaly take the ashes, Warney's 86 wickets for the year, and the list goes on.

what do YOU think the best INDIVIDUAL performance in this has been? i know there is still cricket to be played, and so providing this thread continues, people can discuss new events if they occur in the last half-month.

My personal favourites would have to be Akmal and Mohmmad Yousuf's partnership in the third test against england, and Lehmann's Thrilling 300 odd for South Australia.

you forgot Lara becoming the highest run getter in tests and SAchin Tendulkar`s 35th 100.

Lara,McCullum(smashing aussies),Sachin(Test 100's) and bond ripping through India

The Lara Innings and of course Tendulkars 35th Test Hundred were memorable. The last ODI of between Aus and NZ where NZ managed to track down 331,that was brilliant.

Brett Lee and Kasprowicz putting on over 50 to almost win at Edgbaston.. and Laras 200 against Aus.

Freddie going up to brett Lee at the end of the Edgbaston test for me.

Great sportsmanship.

Yer Freddie and Lee...

The whole ashes actully for me, great sportsmanship yet great competivness :hpraise

Im biased so the record NZ run chase takes the cake for me.
Same here but not biased at all, it was wonderful to watch and other thing-the whole Ganguly episode was spicy and a must read.

Congratulations to Lara and Tendulkar for their respective records, but the best moment for me was that Flintoff over at Edgbaston. Came on with Australia in a stron position, dismissed Langer and Ponting, turned the match and probably the series.

Otherwise, I didn't see it except on the news but the Tendulker record was pretty special. The close Edgbaston test was another.
