BBL 02* ;)

Hurricanes all the way and Afridi not playing :)

I did it in capital letters, but it automatically changed. That's right. Thunder have now signed Azhar Mahmood.

I reckon a few of the teams should've sussed out Paul Stirling as an international player. Available all tournament and is big hitting, fast scoring game changer with international experience who can also bowl a little bit as well. Would be better than Scott Styris and Perth needed a batsmen instead of a bowler. So I don't know why they won't for Alfonso Thomas as their 2nd overseas player.

Good win by the Renegades. Just goes to show you need a good team not just good players

Last night was the first time i've seen Hughes bat since last year's hobart test & while did see some signs that his technique is improved - i saw some signs of the old issues that got him into trouble before.

But he was generally slogging in this T20 so a concrete judgement was hard to make either way.

Scorchers vs Stars tonight. Will be interesting to see who wins. The Stars will win if they choose to.
