The Big Bash has highlighted two things from an australian perspective. Hodge & Nannes despite their ages, are still the best t20 batsman & bowler australia have & its not far far fetched to say they should still be part of australia's plans for the 2014 world cup.

Anyone watching the Big bash highlights? Alex Hales just smashed 89 off 52 balls yesterday for Melbourne against Sydney.

Smashed a couple of 6's onto the Pavilion roof, almost smashing the clock with one. Impressive.

Did anyone see the weird moment during the Perth v Adelaide match?

Warne is an aggressive cricketer. Ruins his reputation, abit like Kohli.

What a cliffhanger! Perth Scorchers won by 8 wickets on the last ball by D/L method in a rain affected match. Stand in skipper for Melbourne Faulkner bowled a noball and gave away two runs in what could have been the last ball of the match, before Mussey hit the winning runs off the valid last ball of the money to set the meeting against Brisbane in the final.

Perth will be tough to beat, Hussey and Marsh in the batting Alfonso, NCN and Beer in the bowling. Brisbane really depending on Pomersbach again and Roach to fire for once.
