HI Scott,

I know for sure that the fix works on BLC..but I'm not sure about SWC. You could try though.

As far as installation is concerened, I am assuming that you already have the game installed. If you did not install the game yet, please do so and then follow the instructions that I sent.

I tried the patch and it did not work with SWC.
It came up with a serious error and said that it could not find the BLC cd.

Could you try to make a modified patch to work with SWC?
(Although this may be hard work).

I just installed it as you normally do (Standard) and then replace the exe files with the files given by baz. I have tried this procedure in both XP as well as Win 2000 at many of my friends places.

Anyone who wants to run BLC withoput the CD should try making a image using "clone CD" and then mounting the image using the software "daemon tools". This creates a virtual CD rom drive through which you can fool windows that you have an CD inserted....</span>

I have a working exe to get Brian Lara working in Win XP, but it is the unpatched version, so there are loads of bugs in the game (i.e wides are hardly ever called) does anyone have a Win XP version of the patched exe file?

So does this mean that SWC has problems running on WinXP as well? Does the compatability function of XP help at all? Also, if there are problems with SWC running on WinXP does anyone know of any fixes for it?

The compatibility thing has no effect on BLC so i assume it will do nothing to SWC either!!
