Well done Tutsi!
It will get boring later on

it's called a demo for a reason. you buy the whole game, then enjoy that. this is just a taster.

well well well

after all that whining and sobbing, i tried a variation of tutsi's ingenious method. i set the compatibility to windows 2000 and lo and behold!

the game works perfectly, at any resolution.

I dl'ed the no commentary version. I followed tutsi's instructions:

1. Set the compatibility mode for both 'Cricket.exe' and 'Configration.exe' to Windows 2000 (for me, others got it working using Windows 98. Try various ones, it might be different for you). Do this by right-clicking on the respective files, going to the Compatibility tab, and selecting whatever option.

Config settings dont seem to matter, pick a resolution that suits your computer best.

Play the game! The demo expander also works fine, try that out once you get it working.

the answer as already been posted. so u wont be having any problems.

**Ma name is Tutsi, not Tutis.

i have tried both compatibility with windows 98 and windows 2000, still to no avail, i guess i will just have to wait for the actual game next week. can someone please assure me that this wil not happen on the actual game.

No this cant be assured. Try out Win 95 and Win NT

ah. so fickle. the game isnt working today. i think my windows update installed something that's conflicting. no idea how to delete it. any clues?
