Well, its a good idea, lets see what the others think. It would be good if we could randomize it somehow.

You can split the eight teams into two groups of four. Using the team that signed up first, probably England, would be number 1 and so on in order of teams that signed up. Using a random number generator like this one: http://www.mathgoodies.com/calculators/random_no_custom.html you can enter a limit of 1-8 and generate a number. If the number was 1-4, England are in group A, if it's 5-8 then they're in Group B.

Good idea Lee, thanks for that. However, ive already drawn teams out of a hat. Id like to thank my girlfriends brother (who knows nothing about cricket) for helping. Teams were drawn out of my bobble hat, team 1 went in group a, team 2 went in group b etc.

So here are the groups.

I have to admit puddleduck, i think you have the easier group.

Basically Kshitiz I'd image the first round of fixtures will be:

Pakistan v England
Australia v Sri Lanka

South Africa v New Zealand
West Indies v India

Just saw Gas's post, I'll sort out the rest of the fixtures later, I've got to head out to nets now.
