BLIC 99 graphics problem

Hi friends,
I recently built a new PC with the following config
Intel P Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHZ
1 GB DDR2 667 MHZ RAM
Intel DG965 RY M/B
1 GB DDR2 667 MHZ RAM
512 MB Nvidia Geforce 7300 GS Graphics Card
OS : Windows XP Pro (d3dhigh path for xp installed)

I picked this config just to play the recent cricket games but like most of you I have always been a hard core fan of BLC 99.Last night I tried to play BLC 99 on this platform the entire screen went grey but the commentary was fine.I couldnot play this great game on this fast PC so I really really need your help to fix it.

(NOTE : If I disable the display adaptor from device manager I could play the game but it is not smooth...every frame hangs big time.BLC 99 works fine on my PIII 1 GHZ , 256 MB Ram PC )

really dont have a clue whats wrong. but because of such a good comp youll probably need latest version of directx. thats all i can think of mate

i guess everyone is forgetting this old game......i came her.e for help, but no1 is really interested in helping me...

I have the exact same problem when using the d3dhigh exe - others did too

Only workaround I know of was to use the d3dlow.exe. Graphics still looked ok and it ran ok too

That is really great to hear zimrahil. Is there a link to download d3dlow.exe for windows xp or vista........I really appreciate your help.

BLC 99 Black Screen Problem at the start Or Graphix Problem

Hi BLC 99 Fans,

I have a PC with the following config

Intel P4 3.0 GHZ Processor
intel 865g motherboard
2 GB DDR2 RAM
OS : Windows XP
Directx: 9.0C
256 MB Nvidia Geforce 6300 Graphic Card
Ac97 SoundMax inbuilt sound card.

Friends I am also a big fan of BLC 99 like all of you but I have a big problem. Please help me if you have a solution.

I installed the BLC 99 XP version (Second Edition).

The problem is after the double clicking on any .exe file the entire game screen went black and wait symbol is displayed only. I couldn't play this game on this PC so I really really need your help to fix it.

I installed the same game on another PC which only have only integrate VGA card with windows XP and it works perfectly.

One more thing Brian Lara 2007 works perfectly on my PC.

Why not just play AC 09? It's superior in every way to BLIC '99.
