Bowling and get best option

Hi all. I am new to this forum but I have had DBC 14 for a long time now.

1) should re do the get best thing for teams as I did it a year or more ago when bought the game.

2)why does good bowling garner massive amounts of maiden overs while bad bowling gets wickets (caught by mid off/on a lot or by a.i sweeping) often I mess up the controls and get the wicket with a weird ball. I am an off spinner in career mostly as it's what I bowled in my school days.

Love this game and I am so glad I came back to it in 2016.

what are you playing on console, PC? since patch 3 its a lot harder to get wickets I am on Xbox 360 I used to get plenty of wickets caught mid on mid off third man of the bouncer im a fast bowler in career mode I still can get wickets but I don get loads of 5 for's or 10 wickets in a match I also get catches in a different areas. Also I play as a leg spinner in a another career and I bowl really well Ai was playing and missing balls kept bouncing over the stumps etc. Then I would bowl a bad ball on the leg side and pick up a wicket, just like in real life SOMEIMES you bowl a good spell get no wickets and on another day you bowl not aswell and pick up wickets. Don't get me wrong you can still bowl well and pick wickets too. Yes you can get best if u want it will update the squads e.g. Moeen Ali and Joe Burns are in there respective international teams.

I am on pc. That is a good way to look at it. So basically bowling has become more realistic since the new patch. That's cool. I must admit when taking a wicket it is really satisfying as it has to be really worked for.

Might update my teams then and start a new career as a batting allrounder. Thanks for the input.
