Story Brendon vs Callum vs Jono - A Worcestershire Battle

Why couldn't you just buy a new hard drive and chuck it in your current computer?

Because I want to try and get my old one back, as it has everything on it.

And most of the computer was already tweaked (motherboard etc), which was part of the reason why it stopped working.

Yea you can just install Windows on the new one and try and access the old harddrive through that. Oh well, if other stuff were screwing up it probably was worth just getting a new one.

There are other ways of getting the data back but they involve opening up the actual harddrive itself. I suppose you wouldn't have much stuff on there you need seeing as it's the start of the uni year.

Maybe we can use this as an opportunity to start a new game :p

The only worthwhile stuff on there was ICC/PC related. :p

Everything else was old school stuff that I know don't need, like you said.

My mates dad's hard drive decided to stop working the other day. So I took it around to a data recovery centre and got quoted almost $800. I didn't dare open the hard drive myself.

But if you're running Windows 7 and you connect up your old hard drive, it will automatically detect it and you should be able to recover everything on it.

So did you manage to get everything back? I'm still waiting to post my next update :p

The computer's up and running, but games (ICC) doesn't/don't work on it ATM. Also ATM I haven't had a look at my old drive.

I had one assignment due today, I've got another one on Sunday, and then another one on Monday, but after that I should be free for at least a few days.

As I said above you guys can continue, if I manage to get my save back I'll try and catch up, don't wait for me though.

Well my computer's just starting to screw up now but it's a software problem, not a hardware problem. Got a worm in there and it's being a pain to remove so I may just restore windows. I should be able to recover my save file data though.

Well I'm fine if you want to quit this and then I can just do my story on my own. I'm not going to want to do another one though.

Monthly Review:

Well a reasonable start in our T20 campaign winning 6 of our opening 10 games, Pelser leading the way with 377 runs although is on International duty now and can't play. Afridi, Rankin and Pears have all taken 16 wickets each while Hussain has also taken 10 wickets from all games back from injury. We'll hope to make the semi's but it's T20 so I couldn't really care less.

Did you's want to stop? I'll happily continue by myself and not have to worry about you's two keeping up. :p

And I've already got my next update ready :facepalm

I've still got the save file somewhere, but I've just been playing NZ saves for fun. Like I'm playing on easy and trying to amass huge totals :p

Not too long until the next version's out

For like the third or fourth time, just continue it yourself, and if I ever get my save back I'll try and catch up...

I'll probably check out my old hard drive in the next few days.

Monthly Review:

Well we just missed out in the Twenty Over Cup, finishing 5th after losing our final match to drop out of the top 4 but 8 wins and 8 losses put us exactly mid table. Boyd Rankin was the stand out player with 22 wickets @ 18.95 while it was up and down for our batsman, Pelser really dominating in the first half before being called up for International duty but Stafford and Mitchell did well late in the tournament. Youth batsman, Roy Blundell also showed his abilities in the T20s when he scored 71* against Warwickshire in an easy chase given the chance to open the batting. Because of that, he was given the chance to opening the batting in the County Championship and scored 123 in his first FC innings backing that up with scores of 38, 23 and 37 in his next 3 FC innings. He could turn out to be one gun youth player. Choudhry again stood out late in the month making scores of 104*, 84, 117 and 61 in his last 4 innings and had made 89 and 48 earlier in the month in the CC. Stafford coming back from injury has been great scoring 52, 53, 29* and 39* in the T20 over cup before making 110 in the Challenge Trophy and 86 and 20* in his first CC match back. Also, Park and Choudhry have now passed 1000 FC runs this season, Park leading the way with 1385 runs @ 72.89 although scored a duck in his last match. 8 centuries have now been scored this season, Park with 4. And in International news, Adler after a shaky start to his career scored 3 fifties in his last 3 innings to take his test average up to 35.29. We now sit third in the County Championship and 2nd in the Challenge Trophy.
