Buttons on ps2 pad

Sorry if this has been coverd but i need help

I use my ps2 pad for cricket 2005 on my pc but im having trouble finding out what buttons are what (IE: i dont know which button you press to hit a 6 on keys you would use shift and shot button but on ps2 pad i dont know which on should be shift) hope this makes sence . If any one knows what the config on a ps2 pad is Help will be very much appreciated thnx. :hpraise

I bought the ps2 to pc converter outa game ?9 99 but there is one on play.com for ?6.99 http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=PC&title=114167

Triangle - Square
Square - Triangle
X - O
O - X
