Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano

West Ham broke the rules, just like 'boro did a few years back, only they were penalised by losing three points. They were relegated at the end of the season, that's probably why 'boro are trying to get involved in this court case. 'Boro's only crime was not being able to field a full squad, so they didn't play the game. If they lost points, West Ham should've as well, fair is fair.
You should be very relieved that we didn't need a win on the last day! Anyone who knows football knows that if that was the case, it would've resulted in your certain relegation, as the proper Man Utd would've turned up, not the one treading water until the FA Cup Final ;) You've only got to look at the first half we had! Now imagine that first half plus a fired up Ronaldo, Giggs, Scholes as well as Rooney. And the only reason Tevez slipped through is we didn't have Vidic and Ferdinand on. They would never have got into such a pickle and we definitely need some defensive back up for next season, as well as a holding midfield player.

Look master Blaster West Ham won against man u cos they were the better side on the day.

2. Ronaldo, scholes not necessary have been fired up as they wouldn't of wanted to get injured for the F.A cup final at wembly!

Erm, did you miss the first half or something? Utd were all over West Ham and it was only a stupid mistake by our second string central defense partnership that let Tevez in!

Come to mention it i did miss the 1st half in the car but still managed to hang on oh by the way master blaster unlucky for not winning the f.a cup i wanted you 2 win and not dirty chelsea. bbbbbbbooooooooooooo lol jaz

Chelsea were lucky that Ronaldo decided to be so greedy today, otherwise I'm certain we would've scored two goals at least. But he's had a fantastic season, so we can't be too hard on the lad.

@Notts til I die: There's something that I'd like to know if you can tell me. Why does West Ham's song speak of blowing bubbles? Can you tell me the origin of that song? Also, what's happening with Tevez? Is he staying at West Ham?

Tevez: apparently west ham are gonna trade Liverpool Belamy or tevez. And sheff utd and Wigan haven't go a very good complaint well that is wot is being said on sky sports.

Bubbles:I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles" is a popular song which debuted in 1918 and was first published in 1919.

The tune is by John Kellette. The lyrics are credited to "Jaan Kenbrovin", actually a collective pseudonym for the writers James Kendis, James Brockman and Nat Vincent. The number was debuted in the Broadway musical "The Passing Show of 1918".

The copyright to I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles was originally registered in 1919, and was owned by the Kendis-Brockman Music Co. Inc. This was transferred later that year to Jerome H. Rernick & Co. of New York and Detroit. When the song was written, James Kendis, James Brockman, and Nat Vincent all had separate contracts with publishers, which led them to use the name Jaan Kenbrovin for credit on this song. James Kendis and James Brockman were partners in the Kendis-Brockman Music Company.

The waltz was a major Tin Pan Alley hit, and was performed and recorded by most major singers and bands of the late 1910s and early 1920s.

The song was a hit for Ben Selvin's Novelty Orchestra in 1919. The Original Dixieland Jass Band recording of the number is an unusual early example of jazz in 3/4 time.

The song also became a hit with the public in British music halls and theatres during the early 1920s. Dorothy Ward was especially renowned for making the song famous with her appearances at these venues. The song was also used by English comedian "Professor" Jimmy Edwards as his signature tune - played on the trombone. Harpo Marx would play the song on clarinet, which would then begin emitting bubbles.

The song is now better known as the club anthem of West Ham United, who currently play in the English Premier League. It was known to have been sung about Billy J. "Bubbles" Murray, a player of schoolboy football with Jim Barrett at the local Park School, so called because of his distinct and almost uncanny resemblance to the boy in the famous painting by Millais entitled "Bubbles". The head at Park School was Cornelius Beal, a football enthusiast and friend of Charlie Paynter, who adapted the lyrics of the song when Park players played well. These touchline songs were a form of predecessor to the terrace chants that have since become a trademark of the game. It was adopted by West Ham's supporters in the late 1920s and is now one of the most recognisable club anthems in English football.

As a tribute to West Ham, the punk rock band the Cockney Rejects covered the song in 1980. The song is also distinctly heard in the movie Green Street, starring Elijah Wood.

In 2006 at the final match at Arsenal F.C.'s Highbury stadium, Arsenal supporters broke into song to celebrate West Ham's defeat of Tottenham which elevated Arsenal into the Champions League on the last day. It was good i was there.

It has become a popular song in the US, notably at the Omicron-Beta chapter of Kappa Sigma at CW Post Long Island University

A great song.

we admitted to breaking the rules,we accepted the punishment (5.5 million),the issue about eligibility is non-exsityent,if they weren't allowed to play they would not've played, the fa and the premier league cleared their signings in august/september and after the tribunal, just strikes nme as jealousy/sour grapes all this, plus notice how dave whelan the wigan chairman has gone quiet now his club are safe!!!

with the fixtures list due in 11 days i dont think there is enough time for anything to happen about this. west ham probably deserved to get punished but its better for the premiership if they say up as they'll put up a fight next year unlike sheff utd would have.

You can understand why 'Boro would be annoyed about this after they were fined 3 points a few years back and were relegated.

The FA need to establish some consistency. You break the rules, you lose 3 points. End of!
