Does anyone have any tips to changing your shot to a back foot shot at the last second,I am always on the front foot as the bowler is running in and I am finding the change very difficult
Should my left stick be in a neutral position when the bowler is approaching?

You could try always front foot position and switching back if the ball is really short, might become an instinct after a while...

Decrease shot timing value and play late by watching the ball closely. By this u can easily pick line length

The game in its current form, make u to play and time early to achieve good power shots ,
To counter this,
Adjust shot timing and increase shot power.
