Chelsea's newly appointed manager faces his first real task today as he takes on experienced manager Alex Ferguson and rivals Manchester United. The last time they met was in the Champions League final where Manchester United edged past Chelsea.

There is doubt that Ahmed will give newly signed Huntelaar a go for this game because of Shevchenko's fine form and Drogba's appearance. Andrey Arshavin is set to start and so is Bosingwa

Chelsea will have to look out for Wayne Rooney and play maker Christiano Ronaldo who are both in superb pre-season form.

SkySports Prediction: This will be a tough game but I can see Manchester United edge this one.

Chelsea face their first challenge of the new season, and that too with the team they faced just under 4 month's ago.

Manchester United have won 3 of the 4 games and lost 1, while on the other hand Chelsea have won 5 games, tied 1, and lost 1.

Chelsea need to be careful for the threat that is posed by Wayne Rooney and the threat of Giggs, Anderson, and of course Ronaldo. Chelsea's line up includes the in form Shevchenko and the not so inform Drogba. Arshavin has been included in the line up and Joe Cole is taking over left wing.

Andrey Shevchenko's hattrick led Chelsea to an outstanding win over rivals Manchester United.

Shevchenko started the goal spree when Essien laid a ball through to him and he beat the keeper with the low hard drive.

But just minutes later Rooney scored from a counter attack making it all level at one.

Rooney than took advantage of a corner and drove the ball into the back of the net as United took the lead.

But just before half time, Drogba's shot which was saved by Van der Sar found its way to Shevchenko who made no mistake as Chelsea equalized.

Just after half time, Shevchenko scored from a superb volley to make it 3 for Chelsea.

Drogba's night came to an end when he was substituted by Huntelaar in the 75th minute and Joe Cole was substituted by Ivanovic in the 85th minute.

After some great defending from Chelsea they held on to a historic win.
