Chelsea FC failed to make their chances into goals as Los Angeles manage to hold the draw. Chelsea looked a bit rusty as they fielded a relatively new side without John Terry at the back. It showed as Donovan broke through early to give LA the lead. But Chelsea struck back as Mikel finished off a low pass from Soloman Kalou. Alex then struck a fierce free kick which found it's way to the back of the net, but Beckham showed his worth as his long shot hit the top corner as Cech could do nothing about it.

The game got worse for Chelsea as they lost Drogba early on to an injury. Chelsea failed to captilize on the oppurtunities which they recieved and saw the game out to a draw.

Drogba commits future to Chelsea​

Drogba put pen on paper to a new 5 year contract today. This would surely end the speculation of him moving out to Milan.

Roma Loan Malouda​

Chelsea FC have allowed Roma to loan Malouda for the rest of this season. Roma have to pay 100% of Malouda's wages.

Clinical finishing led Chelsea to another easy win. Following Arshavin's goal, Shevchenko made it 3 with 2 exceptional finishes.

Chelsea FC were on top for most of the game and created multiple chances. Keeper Petr Cech did not have to move from his mark since Brighton failed to take a shot off in the whole game.

Chelsea target Podolski and Guilherme

Recent reports in newspapers suggust that Chelsea FC are looking forth to picking up duo Podolski and Guilherme.

Huntelaar deal getting closer

Recent reports suggust that Ajax have accepted a $22M bid for striker Huntelaar.

Chelsea FC were on top for most of the game and created multiple chances. A stand out preformance from the midfielders gave the Colchester defense a lot to worry about but the finishing would be worrying for the Chelsea Manager.

Although Drogba managed to get on the scoresheet he didn't have too much of the ball.

Bosingwa and Terry were solid at the back, but Carvalho seemed to get caught in possession far too often.

Chelsea will play their final Pre-season game against Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

Chelsea confirm the signing of Huntelaar

Manager Ahmed was extremely excited on his latest signing of Dutch striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar. Huntelaar has already joined the side in practice and will be available for their final pre-season game against AZ.

Pizarro is on loan, Kalou is my left winger, and Arshavin is a midfield player. That leaves me with Drogba, Sheva, and Huntelaar as my strikers.

Chelsea FC failed to win their last pre-season encounter with AZ. A terrible preformance from the defensive line gave AZ the close win. John Terry and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar scored the goals for Chelsea but it wasn't enough as they lost out to a energetic Dutch side.

Huntelaar came on as the sub at half time and furfilled his Managers request by bagging a goal.

Chelsea Manager Faces his first test

The much anticipated game against rivals Manchester United is just 2 days away. Chelsea's new Manager faces a tough task to beat the much experienced Alex Fergusson. Speaking to BBC Sports Ahmed said,

"Look, I know the fans aren't quite impressed by me just yet. And that's fine because I really haven't done much yet. But I ensure you that my team and I will give 100% effort to win this game and hopefully the whole season."
