Lets look at the wickets that were fallen as the inning continued,
first to go was salman butt,he was trying to hook the ball but edged to the keeper sangakkara,he has been in a poor form,from test matches in india,to this tournament in sharjah.
The second wicket to go was shoaib malik,he was looking good until vass delieverd him with a lovely inswinger.pakistan wasnt looking good at that moment.
The bowlers couldnt do much about it,It was the sri lankan batsman who screwed the whole thing,and there wasnt much for the sri lankan bowlers to go with in that matter.That was just a poor performance by sri lanka,they have to improve them selfs over zimbabwe to stay in this tournament shall i say they already have won a game againts zimbabwe,but pakistan is always a much danger side,They have to improve to beat pakistan.

So much better performance by pakistani bowlers,they were struggling in pakistan againts india which they have lost the series,but today they have showed courage and sami was just at his best.pakistan was just to hot for sri lanka to handel,shoaib akhtar will be looking to take wickets in the up coming match againts zimbabwe,He was wicket less in this match and I was wondering why,
